What is the Star Rating?
As part of MINI's commitment to service excellence, we ask our customer's views on their Dealer experience, either during the new car sales or Aftersales process.
We then collate this information and publish it on our individual Dealer websites, so that other visitors can quickly and simply gain an understanding of how that Dealership is performing from its customers' point of view.
How is my data used?
Your question score and any comments you enter will be shown on the Dealers website, and other potential customers will be able to browse comments and scores going back approximately 90 days.
Your personal details are never disclosed on the dealer website, just the comments and the score. Should you opt to remain anonymous during your survey; your comments will not be shared with the Dealer, and will not published online.
How is the Dealer summary star rating calculated?
Each customer is asked to rate their service using a scale from 1.0 to 5.0. These scores are collated over a 90 day period and then expressed as a star rating based on a score out of 5.
The star ratings and their scores which must be achieved are shown below.

If I provide a score and comment is it possible to withdraw it?
As MINI will not publish defamatory, obscene or other objectionable material we do not have an appeals process for customers to remove scores once they have been published.
Your Dealer can, however, elect to submit a subsequent update to your comment should this be appropriate.
